Bruce Mason Centre: December Avenue Live in Auckland

With the absence of live entertainment from popular Filipino artists for almost 4 years in New Zealand, Amor Yu Productions, Happy Box, and Sinag Productions are thrilled to announce the upcoming concert of December Avenue! For the first time ever, this five-piece indie pop/alternative rock band will be performing in Auckland on Friday, 7 July 2023 at Bruce Mason Centre which kicks off their Australia-New Zealand tour.

December Avenue will be performing songs from their latest album Langit Mong Bughaw which recently earned them the status of having the most streamed OPM (Original Pilipino Music) album of all time on Spotify, garnering over 720 million streams on the popular online music platform to date. The album includes some of their smash hit singles Sa Ngalan Ng Pag-ibig, Kung ‘Di Rin Lang Ikaw (feat. Moira Dela Torre), Magkunwari (‘Di Man Tayo) and Huling Sandali which catapulted the band to stratospheric success according to SunStar Philippines. 

December Avenue has also received numerous awards, including the Most Influential OPM Band of 2019 at the EdukCircle Awards, and Best Collaboration for “Kung Di Rin Lang Ikaw” with Moira Dela Torre at both the MOR Pinoy Music Awards and MYX Music Awards. In 2020, they were awarded a Silver Wishclusive Elite Circle at the Wish Music Awards and won the Best Song Written for Movie/TV/Stage Play at the Awit Awards with their song Huling Sandali for the movie Tayo sa Huling Buwan ng Taon (Us at the End of the Year).
