RICHARD III Directed by Cath Boniface Richard III follows the ruthless rise of Richard, Duke of Gloucester, as he manipulates and murders his way to the English throne. Set after the Wars of the Roses, Richard eliminates rivals, even within his own family, to claim power. His reign of terror sparks rebellion, leading to his defeat by Henry Tudor at Bosworth Field, revealing the devastating cost of power at any price. In this adaptation, Richard III is reimagined as a gritty family gang drama set in the late 1940s, bringing Shakespeareâs tale of ambition and betrayal into the seedy, dangerous world of post-war Londonâs gang culture.
