Step two: Sustenance break

Step three: Boutique shopping
For boutique shopping and fashion, stroll along Hurstmere Road to find something for those hard-to-buy-for types. RUBY and Decjuba are racking up designer clothing, and Recycle Boutique is doing the same, but with high-end pre-loved clothes. Life For Men is one of our top shopping destinations for the fashion-loving man gift. Got a sci-fi lover on your nice list? Head to Retrospace for wicked collectibles. Step four: Relax by the beach
Your shopping’s all done, and now it’s time for a reward. Hop along to one of Takapuna’s great beachside bars for a cold one (Regatta Bar & Eatery comes highly recommended), treat yourself to a meal if you’ve shopped yourself up an appetite, or even just treat yourself to a Duck Island ice cream or KiwiYo frozen yoghurt and go enjoy it on the beach – you’ve earned it.
